BBQ with Jenna

On Sunday night Jenna came over to grill and hang out. We had barbecued chicken and potato wedges. We made some chocolate chip cookies and had them with some vanilla ice cream. It was so much fun having her over! We love when people drive to the BOONIES to hang out with us. :)

As all of you know-Mindy (my lil sis) makes almost all of Harley's head gear. She made the bow on her head. We bought a onesie at the dollar store and she sewed the yo-yo flower thing on it. Then, she made her the gray belt. How cute huh!? :) Thanks Mindy!!

Some randomness...

Poor girl had to have some nasty prunes because she wasn't going to the bathroom.
She looks like she enjoyed em, but she didn't care for em too much.
*other solids she's tried: rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and banana yogurt...all of which she's ok with.

Right after I fed her and sat her down on the bed, I turned away for a second, then looked back and saw her like this...I guess she thinks she owns the place! haha

Last week I got about an hour and a half break instead of 1/2 hour to go feed Harley. Grandpa Washburn had a doctors appointment. It was nice to hang out with her for a while. AND-that she fell asleep on me! Made me not want to leave!

Just lookin cute in her "springy" outfit. I thought I should put her hat on her-don't know how much longer it will fit OR how long until it's too hot.

I thought it would be funny to put her tutu on her head. Yep-it was :) haha

All the pacifiers that are in her crib...hmmm which one should I use next...

*Sloppy Joes

*Barbecue beef sandwich
*GOOD Toast- with peanut butter & honey
*Peanut butter & jelly sandwich
*Tuna sandwich
*Just a piece of good ol' soft bread & butter!

Happy Birthday to my oldest sisters son-Emerson! I can't believe he's already 3! CRAZY!

6 MONTHS OLD

Harley had her 6 month doctors appointment yesterday:

* 16lbs 2oz - 50% * 27 inches - 90% *
-got her shots-
-ear infection is gone-
-thrush is still there...we are both using the nystatin.
it's not a horrible case of it. thank goodness for that!-
-she hasn't been pooping very much lately, so we are giving her prunes...blah!-

Things she's been doing:
*rolling over-MORE
*Sitting up*pushing off her feet while sitting next to me
*scooting- crawling is probably in the near future-AAH!-
*sleeping through the night-most of the time
*talking and laughing more & more
*putting everything in her mouth (she tore up and was trying to eat the paper at the doctors)
