Baby Shower

SO...my shower was AMAZING!! Mindy did an awesome job! The food (treats) were ALL gluten free...so I could eat whatever I wanted! :) Mindy made the cupcakes (betty crocker devils food) and the frosting (buttercream). They were SOOOOOOO good!!! She got some of her ideas from AmyAtlas.com Thank you to all of those that came! It was such a blast. We played a couple games, had some delicious treats & great company! Go HERE to see lots of pics (Thank you ALISHA!!). Mindy-Thank you SOOOO much!!! You are awesome! Thank you to ALL of those who helped, brought food etc. Love ya guys! (wish you could have been there Amy & Jill)

Update...

Mindy did an AMAZING job with the shower!!

I will upload the rest of the shower pictures hopefully tomorrow :) It was AWESOME!!!
I went to the doctor today and:

Dilated: 1cm
Effaced: 25%
Head down & she could feel it...she said it was a cute head...haha
Measuring: 35 weeks
Heart beat: 150's
Everything else is looking good :)

Last weekend

Last weekend was super fun! My family met up at Barro's...of course :), had some pizza, then headed back to my parents for some cupcakes & homemade ice cream to celebrate Riley's 3rd birthday & my dads 66th birthday. I made the cupcakes using a Betty Crocker GF yellow mix and some chocolate frosting. I thought they were alright...especially with the chocolate frosting :) Riley seemed to really enjoy them...I think she ate 3 or something. My mom made ice cream... strawberry ice cream :) It was so good!! After cupcakes & ice cream, Riley & my dad opened a couple presents. Then, the girls went off to get pedicures. It felt so nice! What a fun day :) We missed you Amy & Tim, Jill, Jim, Sage & Emerson, & Jennie!! To see the pics go HERE

Another Project...

So, a couple months back we went to Room Store Clearance (Country Club & the 60) and Scott found this fireplace. (It was all wood color). So, we bought it to go in place of the T.V. stand/entertainment center that was currently in the front room. (too much stuff on it for a baby to get at) He got an air compressor from Sean (to the right in the pic). He already had a paint sprayer to attach to it. He primed it all (the white part) and then painted it black. I have to say, when we got it I was not a huge fan...but I do like the way it looks now.

Middle of the process:

Done: (don't mind all the wires...we are going to get a thin piece of board and put it on the back.)

Along with the piece of board that will go along back...we are probably gonna put candles in it...no fire :) haha...and then possibly put something on the front, like plexiglass.
We'll see how it all goes :)

So, in the week I had off I: relaxed, got a massage (Thx Ash!! It was awesome), went swimming at my grandmas with Mindy, cleaned, had some friends & family over, ate at Gecko (w/Mindy), Red Robin (w/Scott's fam), Barro's (w/Kimmy & Darryl, Mike & Mindy), & Pei Wei (w/Scott), got my hair done, got my eyebrows waxed, went on a tour at the hospital (it was only 1/2 hour...but nice to see where we'll be), made banana bread with my mom (YUM), and watched some television...now this weekend...celebrate my dad & Riley's birthdays & get a PEDICURE :) YEAH!!!
