Happy 27th Birthday babe!

We went to Red Robin tonight before our doctors appointment. The waiters/waitresses sang to Scott and they asked how old he wanted to be tonight and he said 8 so they announced to everyone he was 8. haha

Doctors appointment: I am measuring about 21 1/2 weeks and I'm 22 weeks tomorrow...so I guess I'm good :) Heart beat sounded great as well. All looks good so far :) YEAH!

Scott started painting the room tonight :) So...I'll post pictures when it's ALL done & put together :)

A few random things:

* The Ring Tings (pictured in post below) were pretty good!!

* We got our bedding about a week and half ago...woohoo!

* I've bought and friends bought a few outfits for Harley already (thanks Jenna and Mindy!!)

* I personally am not into the huge bows and flowers for Harley. I know a lot of people are, but if you know me you know that's just not me :) I like do like the little ones :)

* We bought paint yesterday! WOOHOO!!

* The crib & dresser came on Friday.

* We put the dresser together Friday night.

* We went to breakfast at the Farm House in Gilbert yesterday with: Alisha (aka Georgia) & Doug, Ashley & Coby, Jenna & Scott & I. It was fun! The water tower and little grassy area looks really nice with a couple water features.

* Last night we went to dinner with Mindy & Mike at P.F. Changs...DELISH! and then they came over to hang out. Scott & Mike went and got ice cream from the store, came back we were watching some TV and Scott & I started to fall asleep! LAME-O! SORRY M&M!!! They ended up leaving at 9:30!! Yes...9:30!! Night Owls I know. lol

* When I go to P.F. Changs I order (off the Gluten Free menu) Changs Spicy Chicken-MILD. lol It is SOOOOO good! with white rice of course :)

* My parents are coming over in a little over an hour...better tidy up.

Gluten Free goodies & Belly Update

So, I found these Ring Tings (similar to Ding Dongs I guess) and Swiss Chocolate Roll (similar to swiss cake roll) online about a week ago. So, I bought them & they just got here today. I thought that that cake roll would be lots of little rolls, but it was one giant roll. I tried the cake roll and it was pretty good! A little dry w/out the filling, but it was pretty delish! I haven't tried the Ring Tings yet...I'll let you know how they are :)

Happy Easter

We had dinner at my parents house for Easter. Mom mom made a delicious dinner and it was followed by a great dessert from Lindsay & Ryan. Dinner was: ham, scalloped potatoes, fruit and yummy dip, some nasty veggies :) (green beans & asparagus) and dessert was: cheesecake with strawberries. Yummy yum yum!!!

I want to say THANK YOU to all of my family for always accommodating to my "special needs" of eating. :) Everyone always makes sure they make something I can have. I especially want to say thanks to Lindsay & Ryan for always making sure I can have whatever they make, even if it's setting some aside before they finish making the rest of their meal. Thanks everyone!!! You're awesome!

Barro's...

So, we went to Barro's last night with: Steve, Kiera & Dylan, Nick, Ciara & Addyson, Dan, Kirstie & Easton and Mindy. It was lots of fun getting all together. I don't think we've ever done it before. We should definitely do it again!!!

AND...THE PIZZA

The pizza was DELISH! I LOVED it! Probably one of, if not my favorite! I liked the cheese side better because it was crispier. After most of us were done eating, one of the managers came over to see how the gluten free pizza was. He sat and talked to me about it for a while. He told me they just started doing this a couple weeks ago. They got a few different crusts in to try and decided on this Italian crust from Gluten-Free Creations. They are the only location that is doing the gluten free as of right now and just seeing how it goes. He told me that the GF pizza is all he gets now. It's a sweeter crust (he compared it to cornbread) He said only a manager makes the GF pizza and it is on the parchment paper from the get go, they have different cutters for them as well. AND, he said they announce it to the people in the kitchen so they know when it is supposed to come out of the oven. They do deliver out to us, but it would cost quite a bit extra...it's a good thing they are close enough to drive down to if I'm wanting a pizza bad enough :) (Well, they're closer then the other places that I've gotten GF pizza from.)
Great Service, Great Food, Great Fun!!! I would definitely recommend it.

Good Friday

Today I just hung out at home, watched television and played on the computer until about 1 and then I headed to my parents. I went with my mom & Mindy to get pedicures. I haven't had my toes done since my toe surgery. I was kind of nervous...but the guy did a very good job & was very careful. I was also embarrassed because my toe is very ugly :)

Barro's Gluten Free?!

So, I got a text from a friend of mine the other day and she told me that Barro's had gluten free pizza! WHAT!? SWEET! So, tomorrow night we are going to the only Barro's that has gluten free pizza to see how it is. Oh, the other great thing is, it's a Barro's that is somewhat close to our house!
HERE is where their crust is made. Can't wait to try it!

Birthing Class

I want opinions:
It's $75 for a birthing class and I'm pretty sure we're going to take it.
(I am getting an epidural...not sure if that will change opinions)

If you have kids:
Did you take a birthing class? Would you recommend it?

If you didn't take it, do you wish you would have? Or do you think everything was ok?

No kids:
If you were having a baby would you take a birthing class?

If yes, Should we take it at the hospital where we're delivering or at our doctors office?

If we take it through the hospital a tour is included with the class.
BUT even if we don't take a class, we will still get to do the tour.
