it was a long partying weekend...
ok...my poor baby's face, neck, ears and scalp are covered in redness! Some bumpines, some just red. A few do have white spots, which I figure is acne. So, what is the rest?? Acne? Heat? Something else? Anybody else have this happen to their baby?
Anything I can do for it? It makes me so sad to see her like this! :(

OH MY GOSH! loved this post up to the redness. its definitely gotten worse. i'm sorry if it was the heat! i hope she gets better very soon. love you. it was fabulous to see you!
Oh dear. That does look pretty bad. Annie's had a little bit on the sides of her face- pretty sure it's from the heat when she turns her head to the side while she's sleeping. But it is nothing like Harley's! Maybe you should take her to the pediatrician; I'm sure it's nothing dangerous, but maybe it irritates her. How weird!
Jamison had that too. It is baby acne. I goes away. Just dont put lotion on her and wash with just water...
Oh dang...poor Harley! I recommend taking her to the pediatrician. She might be allergic to something, it might just be a heat rash...who knows. I would definitely take her to the Dr. just to give you peace of mind.

Hey Traci your daughter is adorable! I blog hopped to you hope you don't mind. My son had the exact same thing all over his face which then started to spread. He was allergic to fragrances. We had to go fragrance free with everything-soaps, detergents, and had to make people put a blanket as a barrier between him and them. It was weird because it did not start acting up until he was about a month old. Good Luck - Brie

sage had pretty bad baby acne...but she didn't have that much redness!!
i would call the doc too just to be safe. hopefully they can give you some suggestions!

Traci! Don't worry - all babies get rashes like that during their first couple months. Sometimes it's worse than others though - it could be eczema and your doctor could prescribe a steroid if that's the case. But, what worked for me and a couple friends is the aveeno baby lotion. It worked miracles with Brenan's skin! Good luck!
